MEDIA APPEARANCE: David Ehrlich's IndieWire Critics Survey on October 1, 2018

Notable and notorious IndieWire film critic David Ehrlich recently put out a social media call for film critic peers to join a weekly survey to discuss movie topics, answer questions, and highlight their work.  Representing Every Movie Has a Lesson, I, along with over 60 other emerging and established film critics including some of my fellow Chicago Independent Film Critics Circle members, accepted the invitation to participate.  I'm honored by the opportunity, and I hope my responses are chosen each week.  

THIS WEEK'S QUESTION: What is your favorite comfort film of all-time?

IndieWire film critic David Ehrlich called last week a trying one socially and emotionally. For the critics survey, he sought more casual feedback to request what movies we watch to lift our spirits and comfort our hearts and minds, true to the value of movies as escapism. Those friends and fans out there who know me and follow the page could probably predict that answer without even reading the article. This was a no-doubter for me.
