COLUMN: New review platform for "Every Movie Has a Lesson"
I wanted to formally update my followers and readers of a cool new platform and opportunity for both you and this website. This past fall, I was approached by the one of the co-founders of the young website BAG Movies to add a professional profile to their community site. Founded in February 2015, BAG aims to be "one-stop shopping" for finding, watching, and sharing movies and TV shows. It can become your new place to talk and listen to your friends about what you're loving (and hating) in entertainment.
The website is powered by a "recommendation engine" that analyzes your preferences, comments, and trends via tags and social input. BAG creates personalized recommendations, suggestions, and lists based on those preferences and connects you to people and users of similar tastes. You might just find you movie soulmate! Other sites talk about movies they are trying to pitch. BAG lets the users rate and decide what is good content, on a clean and concise desktop and mobile-friendly website with social media connectivity.
BAG offers other exciting components. Similar to CanIStreamIt, BAG will aggregate all of the online providers (Google Play, iTunes, etc.) to show you where you can view and find your favorite films and your recommendations. The site has grown to hundreds of daily users and has gathered 25,000 (and counting) user ratings and comments from ten countries across six languages.
Over 440 (and growing) of those ratings are from yours truly here at "Every Movie Has a Lesson." BAG Movies granted me a PRO account as a critic to add my ratings, links, and content to their database. Find my follow my critic page HERE at BAG Movies. Check out the whole site and see what I have found to be a smooth little addition to your movie and TV radar.
